The American Visionary Arts Museum Kinetic Sculpture Race 2015 was moved from May to June 14, 2015!

This is the 17th Annual Race, and the AVAM and Baltimore community are excited for the return!

This year’s theme is “Out of This World,” in tribute to the Hubble Spacecraft.

The event is FREE and races begin at 11am.

What are Kinetic Sculpture Races? Well, they are human- powered works of art that will race against each other in a fun event. They race on land, through water, sand and mud. They can be powered by one or many humans! Some are small, some are 50 feet long!

Spectactors can get involved, too, by dressing in costume!

For more details, visit the AVAM website.

So, join in the fun, and come out for the AVAM Kinetic Sculpture Race on Sunday, June 14, 2015!
