The American Visionary Arts Museum Kinetic Sculpture Race 2018 is May 5!
This is the 20th Annual Race, and both the AVAM and Baltimore community are excited for this meaningful year!
This year’s theme is “Mysteries and Tall Tales.”
The event is FREE and races begin at 10am. It starts and ends at the AVAM.
What are Kinetic Sculpture Races? Well, they are human- powered works of art that will race against each other in a fun event over 15 miles in Downtown Baltimore. They race on land, through water, sand and mud. They can be powered by one or many humans! Some are small, some are 50 feet long!
Spectactors can get involved, too, by dressing in costume!
For more details, visit the AVAM website.
So, join in the fun, and come out for the AVAM Kinetic Sculpture Race on Saturday, May 5, 2018!
