The Baltimore Grand Prix 2013 is Labor Day Weekend.

Downtown Baltimore is bustling, as restaurants are planning specials, and some hotels have VIP viewing areas, room specials, and more.

The Baltimore Grand Prix race events are August 30 through September 1, with the big IndyCar Series race on Sunday afternoon. All weekend there are races, as well as practice and qualifying rounds.

New this year is the Esskay Family Fun Zone, which will be in the Baltimore Convention Center, showcasing Radio Disney, an Obstacle Course sponsored by Port Discovery, and KIDRACERS go-karts for the little ones. Older kids can enjoy electric go-karts and Pinewood Derby racing. There will also be a bounce house, rock climbing wall, a “spider web” climb, music, face painting and more.

Tickets are still available, including special packages, general admission, reserved seats, and grandstand seats — for one, two, or all three days.
