Baltimore Thanksgiving 2014 is definitely one for the books.

A snowstorm with Thundersnow came on Wednesday, closing Baltimore County schools early, as well as many businesses.

My son was off school and found indoor activities to play.

My nephew even built a snowman when he got home from school!

I am thankful for my family and my friends. I have so much for which to be grateful!

That being said, I am very sad that my mother couldn’t be here this year, and hope that she is able to stay warm and dry, and not have to go out (Connecticut got more snow than we did here in Maryland.)

Now, if your plans changed, and you are looking for Thanksgiving plans tomorrow, my friend, Jessica Lemmo, wrote an article for CBS Baltimore on the Best Restaurants Open on Thanksgiving in Baltimore. (She knows and writes about food often, so she is a great one to trust!) Here is a link to her article on CBS Baltimore’s website. She names five great restaurants — three are downtown, and two of them are in Baltimore County — one right in Towson (Cafe Troia,) the other in Parkville (Pappas!) Make sure to call to make sure they have reservations available.

Wherever you may be, and whomever you may be with, I wish you all a very Happy Thanksgiving!
