Early voting in Maryland for the 2012 General Election begins Saturday, October 27 and runs through November 1.

*DUE TO HURRICANE SANDY, EARLY VOTING WAS SUSPENDED 10/29 & 10/30. ACCORDING TO GOVERNOR O’MALLEY, EARLY VOTING WILL RESUME 10/31 WITH EXTENDED HOURS FROM 8AM-9PM, AND FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 2 WILL BE ADDED AS AN EARLY VOTING DAY.*

Early voting runs just like the main voting day. You will go to an early voting election site, check in, and vote on a touch screen.

Who can vote early? Any registered voter qualified to vote in that election. You may vote in the county in which you reside.

Baltimore County has five early voting centers, as does Baltimore City. Hours for early voting centers are daily (except Sunday) 10am-8pm each day of that the early voting is open, while Sunday, October 28,  the centers will be open 12pm-6pm.
