Hunt Valley home sales in August 2013 were up in a big way from August 2012.
The total volume of Hunt Valley / Cockeysville homes sold in August was $10,138,400, which is up 63.86% from the $6,187,300 that sold last August. This is great, considering the down month we saw in Hunt Valley Home Sales July 2013.
Average sold price was way up as well — 48.25% to $482,781 from $325,647 in August 2012. This could be largely due to the fact that TWO of the 21 homes that sold were OVER $1 MILLION!
As mentioned above, 21 Hunt Valley homes sold in August, two more than last August. It took an average of 61 days for a home in 21030 to receive an acceptable contract. Four Hunt Valley homes sold in less than ten days, while another five in less than a month.
Seventeen Hunt Valley homes went under contract in August, while 31 houses came on the market. There were a total of 85 homes in Hunt Valley for sale by the end of August.
