Hunt Valley Home Sales July 2014 were down from July 2013.
The total volume of Hunt Valley homes sold in June was $7,496,300, which is down 20.22% from July 2013, where we saw $9,395,900 sell. This is up, however, from the low sales volume of $5,336,500 that we saw in Cockeysville Home Sales June 2014.
Unfortunately, also down, was average sales price, down 23.84% to $340,741 from last year, and also way down from last month. Now, to note, the Cockeysville area has a very wide variety of homes, and if the homes that sold are smaller condos or townhouses, the average price can drop quickly, compared to the months when the large, newer single family homes sell.
Twenty-two Cockeysville homes sold in July, one more than last July.
It took an average of 53 days for those 22 Hunt Valley homes to go under contract, which is a great number to have drop from the average of 84 days it took last July.
