The Mays Chapel Elementary School Boundary Meeting for the public is now Thursday, December 12, 2013 at 7pm at Carver School.

This is a public information session about the boundary selection process, attempting to help those interested in the boundaries to understand the data used to come up with the different potential scenarios for the school’s boundaries.

Attendees will also be invited to participate in an online survey about the scenarios, which will help the committee in charge with the final boundary recommendation to Baltimore County schools.

Mays Chapel Elementary School was approved by the Baltimore County Public School Board in March 2012, and is scheduled to open in Fall 2014.

Some Mays Chapel residents were not happy about the school’s location, but it has been moving forward, and now, the decision as to which children will attend the school based on where they live must be determined.

If you have an interest in where the school boundaries may be, you should attend the session on Thursday the 12th at 7pm at George Washington Carver Center for Arts and Technology, 938 York Road, Towson, MD 21204.
