Mt Vernon’s Annual Monument Lighting this year is Thursday, December 3.

The Lighting Festival is held at the Walters Art Museum from 5:00-8:30 pm. It is a free event for the whole family! There will be fun performances, children’s art activities, and at 7 pm the Washington Monument will be lit up for all to enjoy through the Holiday Season. After the lighting, be ready for some great fireworks exploding across the night sky!

This is always a fun event for anyone to attend — adults and children alike!

The Walters Art Museum is located at 600 N Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. For more information on the Washington Monument Lighting Festival, contact the museum at contact 410-547-9000, ext. 300.
