Downtown Baltimore has a number of 4th of July events!

Baltimore County 4th of July events include parades, and fireworks. Downtown Baltimore has all day events!

This year’s free Inner Harbor celebration is called, “Ports America Chesapeake Fourth of July Celebration”. Beginning at noon, at Westshore Park, there will be a magician, and Milkshake will perform at 1 & 3 pm. Then, at the Inner Harbor Amphitheater, the Pennsylvania Naval Guard Band will play at 4pm, then the US Naval Academy Band Electric Brigade, will play at 7:30pm. The fireworks will begin at 9:30pm!

The American Visionary Arts Museum has a free event called the “Visionary Pets on Parade” at 10am.

Fort McHenry also has an event from 12-4:30pm, with fife music & drums, musket firings, and the Declaration of Independence read at 3pm. The cost is just the price of admission to park.

The Baltimore Museum of Industry, World Trade Center Building, Port Discovery, and Historic Ships in Baltimore have evening events that you can pay for, and receive prime fireworks-viewing spots as part of your package.

So enjoy Fourth of July in Downtown Baltimore!

Milkshake is playing a show on Sunday, February 13, 2011 to celebrate Valentine’s Day and raise money for Autism Speaks.

The Valentine’s Day Spectacular concert will be at Ram’s Head Live in Downtown Baltimore, with doors opening at 1 pm, and the concert beginning at 2 pm.

Other fun things include face painting, balloon art, chocolate kisses, flowers, cartoons and videos.

Tickets are $15 per person, while children under the age of 2 are free. You can get a four person family pass for $50!

A portion of the proceeds goes to Autism Speaks, which is an organization that supports the understanding, support, and advocacy so needed for families of children with autism.

What a great way to raise money and awareness while having fun with the whole family!

Ram’s Head Live Baltimore is in Downtown Baltimore across the Power Plant Live plaza from Port Discovery Museum, at 20 Market Place, Baltimore, MD 21202.

Baltimore Party in the Park 2010

Baltimore Party in the Park 2010 is this Sunday, October 2 from 10:30 am – 5 pm at the Padonia Park Club on Jenifer Road in Cockeysville.

The Baltimore Party in the Park is an event in support of the Nikki Perlow foundation, which was formed to honor Nikki’s memory and “provide financial, logistical and emotional support to young adults like Nikki – who struggle with the disease of addiction”. Nikki passed away from an accidental overdose in 2007.

Last year was the first Baltimore Party in the Park, and was a great success. This year, like last, the hugely popular kids’ group Milkshake will perform from 12-1:30 pm, along with southern rock group The Bridge from 2:30-4:30 pm for adults.

The “Kidz Stage” has shows all day long, and there is also a large “Kidz Zone” with an obstacle course, coloring books & jewelry making, as well as face painting, pumpkin decorating, petting zoo, and the Oriole Bird!

Yummy food will be available as well, as it will be catered by the popular Clementine Restaurant on Harford Road.

Tickets for the Party in the Park are $10 for adults and $5 for children, and can be bought in advance or at the event on Saturday.

Padonia Park is located at 12006 Jenifer Road, Cockeysville, MD 21030. The event will be at the West picnic area — but I think the cars, music, people, and smells of food will draw you there!

Some come on up just west of Timonium off West Padonia Road (past the Mays Chapel Graul’s) and enjoy a great day while supporting a worthy cause.
