New Subway Near Starbucks in Lutherville

There is a new Subway going into the space next to Starbucks at the Yorkridge Center South Shopping Center just north of Ridgely Rd in Lutherville.

The space was formerly occupied by Quizno’s, but has been empty for a number of months now.

The other eatery in the center is a Chipotle, so this will offer a different flavor for meal choices.

I’m especially looking forward to it opening because my Timonium real estate office is located in this same business park.

Hopefully it will be opening very soon.

The new Subway in Timonium will be located at 1830 York Rd, Timonium, MD 21093.

Once it opens, come have some lunch, and then visit me at my office two buildings behind it!

How My iPhone Helps My Clients

A number of years ago, I got my first iPhone. Before then I had a Palm Treo, for its’ multipurpose useage.

My iPhone has many facets that help me better serve my clients in my business.

First, it has internet access, so I can check emails, look up houses, and enter information as needed. I can download documents from emails and review them before I can get to a computer.

Second, it has text messaging. With the exception of being in a class, on an airplane, or with a client, I often respond very quickly to text messages. It is a quick and efficient way to communicate!

Third, it can make & receive phone calls. I say that somewhat in jest because I have the AT&T version, and there are areas where my phone doesn’t ring even if it is right next to me. (Sometimes even in my own Timonium real estate office…)

Fourth is the high resolution camera, which I have even used to take photos of my listings.

Fifth is the built-in video camera, which I have used to take video of a house to share with an out-of-town client!

I use the calculator app on a regular basis, and my calendar is accessed through my phone too. I tweet, I check in on foursquare, and take notes on the iNote application and save it to Evernote.

The multiple-functionality facets of the phone make it an easy to use tool to help remain in contact and get fast answers for my clients!

The iPhone is just one of the many technology tools I utilize in helping my sellers and buyers achieve their dreams!

My Timonium Real Estate Office is Collecting Toys for Tots and Gloves and Hats for Lanvale Center in Baltimore

Last year my Keller Williams Excellence office in Timonium was approved to be an official drop off for the Toys for Tots campaign, and we are in again this year!

We had boxes and bags and cars full of toys for the Marines to come pick up last year, and were so proud to be a part of such a wonderful organization and drive.

This year we are also collecting gloves/mittens, scarves and hats for children living at the Lanvale Center in Baltimore. The children who have come to Lanvale have nothing when they arrive, including coats and gloves to protect them from the cold, harsh winter. Usually these children have been removed from their homes by Child Social Services and this provides a safe place for them to begin to rebuild their lives.

Donations of both toys and winter clothes for children can be dropped off at my office Monday-Friday 9am -5pm, or I would be happy to pick them up or arrange for additional drop off times for you. Our collection ends December 18, 2009.

Thank you for any help you are able to give. These children will appreciate it more than you can imagine.
