Timonium Home Sales May 2011

Timonium home sales were down in May over the same period last year.

The entire Baltimore metropolitan area was down last month, and our area was no different.

Total sold volume was down 32.86% from 19,721, 900 in May 2010 to $13,242,125 this May. This is partially due to the number of sales being down from 56 last year to 39 last month. 17 less homes changing hands can certainly affect the total volume! Both were down a little over 30%.

Townhouse sales, in areas like Mays Chapel, prices averaged about the same, while detached prices were down just under 8%.
