Timonium Home Sales May 2013

Timonium home sales in May 2013 were up in a big way from May 2012.

The total volume of Timonium houses that sold last month was $28,389,550, which is up a whopping 56.03% from last May’s $18,195,500. This is up tremendously from the $13,880,975 we saw in Timonium Home Sales April 2013.

Also up was the average sales price, 17.58% to $411,443 from $349,913 last May. This is also up from last month!

Sixty-nine Timonium homes sold in May, up from the 52 that sold last year. The average days it took to receive a contract was 48, which is a great drop from the 100 days, on average, it took last May.

THREE homes sold before they hit the market, while another 24!!! sold within the first 10 days on the market. Another 12 sold in less than a month! Like last month, this means more than half the 21093 houses that sold received contracts in less than a month. Another 14 homes sold in less than two months.

Eighty-six Timonium homes came on the real estate market in May, and 70 homes received acceptable contracts. There were a total of 128 homes for sale in Timonium last month.
