Towson 21204 home sales in January 2013 were up from the same point last year.
The volume of Towson homes sold in January was $2,749,400, a 65.08% increase from the $1,665,500 that sold the previous year. This is a drop from 21204 home sales December 2012, when we saw $5,450,372 in homes change hands.
Nine homes changed hands, up from seven last January. One sold the day it came on the market, while another sold in less than a month.
Twelve Towson houses came on the market in January, while 14 received acceptable contracts. This is up from the nine that went under contract last January. The average days it took for a home to go under contract was 75, which is down from 98 last year.
A huge change to note is that there were only 37 homes for sale in 21204, while last January there were 61 homes from which buyers could choose. Less inventory for sale tends to be good for home sellers because there is less competition for buyers. With interest rates still very low, there may be many buyers out there for these homes!
