Towson 21286 home sale statistics were up in a BIG way in March 2012!
Total volume of sales for March was $4,864,300 up 85.37% from last year! Last March saw sales of $2,624,150. Also up? Average sold price up to $286,315, a 30.85% increase over last year’s $218,679 average.
Seventeen homes sold, also up 41.67% from the 12 that did last March.
The average days on the market that it took for a home to sell dropped to an average of 99 days, down from 130 last year, over a month less time on the market! Three of them sold in less than a week, while seven sold is less than a month.
The big change is in part by 10 single family homes selling versus five last year. Of the 10, one sold for $500-600,000, and three were between $400-500,000. There were seven townhouses, like those in Loch Raven Village, that sold both years.
Forty homes came up for sale last month, while thirty homes went under contract. A total of 85 homes were actively on the market in 21286.
