Towson Row Update October 2015.

Towson Row has begun construction — well, blasting prior to construction, which will continue for a few weeks, according to an article in the Towson Patch.

This is the beginning of the demolition needed to create a clear path for the developers to create Towson Row.

What is Towson Row?

Towson Row is a mixed-use development, being anchored by a 45,000 sq ft Whole Foods. There will be 100,000 sq ft of retail space, 200,000 sq ft of office space, a 150-room hotel, 900 student housing beds for Towson University, as well as 375 either apartments or condominiums, depending on the strength of the condo market, I’m sure before they enter that phase of the development.

It is being designed and developed by Caves Valley Partners. Here is more information in an article in the Baltimore Business Journal.

Towson Row will be located on a five acre lot at the corner of York Road and TowsonTown Boulevard.

Construction is scheduled to run through 2018, with Whole Foods opening in 2018.

As construction on Towson Row continues, and more details emerge, I will share what I learn!
