Towson’s National Night Out 2018 is August 7.

Beginning at 6pm on the 7th, the Towson Citizens On Patrol, Precinct Six of the Baltimore County Police Department, and the Police Community Relations Council are hosting an event to bring the community together in a their fight against crime.

The location for the event is Washington Avenue between Pennsylvania and Chesapeake Avenues.

They plan to have a tug-of-war, events for the kids including face paint, hula hoops, and an opportunity to get in a fire truck and police car, plus refreshments for all.

The first Tuesday in August is National Night Out, and Towson as a community has come together to celebrate.

Admission to the event is free, as are the activities and refreshments, but the one request is that attendees bring 2-3 items for homeless children in Baltimore County, which will be donated to the Student Support Network.

The Towson area Citizens on Patrol have even compiled a list of suggested items: http://towsonareacop.org.
