Preakness 2014 is May 17, and Baltimore is getting ready!
The week begins with the Preakness kickoff concert at Rams Head Live! in Downtown Baltimore featuring the band “The Bridge” on Saturday, May 10.
Events continue throughout the week!
Friday is Black-Eyed Susan Day, with races throughout the day, and a concert in the infield featuring The Fray at 5:30pm and Counting Crows at 7:30pm. The first artist, Annie Bosko, will be performing at 4:00pm.
There are races scheduled throughout the day on Saturday, May 17, and the 139th Running of the Preakness is scheduled for about 6:19pm. The gates open at 8am, so arrive early for a good location, if you plan to be at the Infieldfest!
The Preakness Infield is *the* place to be on Saturday, with Lorde headlining and Nas a big draw. A second stage has a number of shows, including Switchfoot, and there are games and activities throughout the day.
Visit the Preakness website for more details.
Make a plan to come to Baltimore Saturday, May 17, 2014, or come and join in the fun all week long!
