April Fools’ Website gags started early in 2016 with Yahoo announcing in an article that Trader Joe’s is closing all stores by 2017.

A friend of mine posted the “article” on March 31, and the reactions from her friends were really amusing.

Google had some fun, as they have been for the past few years.

From Google Cardboard Plastic (“the world’s first actual reality headset,”) https://googleblog.blogspot.com/2016/03/cardboard-plastic.html to #NatandLo’s The “String Theory” where cats are living in a parallel universe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0PBXFQpIeA and Google Play’s “RealBooks” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-_U92YX7eA where they remove all other items except ONE BOOK from each Android device.

Think Geek also likes to have fun, they develop “products” for the day. This year there is a light switch that does nothing, a Star Trek white noise machine, Flavor of the Day desktop calendar, A Virtual Reality Sensory Immersion Generator, the “Plumbus” (made with organic “dinglepop”) and more. http://www.thinkgeek.com/?itm=thinkgeek&rkgid=274502581&cpg=ogb1&source=google_branded&adpos=1t1&creative=66539847645&device=c&matchtype=e&network=g&gclid=CKauxKba7csCFQgaaQodEO4MDw&cpg=cj&ref=&CJURL=&AID=10746449&PID=7596969&SID=skim66960X1514734X91eb546b59a41016e93ff0136c99256a&CJID=2617611

I haven’t seen any local Baltimore jokes like the Johns Hopkins April Fools’ joke a few years ago.

Did you see anything that made you laugh today?
