Baltimore City Christmas Tree Pickup 2025 will be happening through February 7, 2025.

The Baltimore City Department of Public Works posted on their website : “…residents can place trees out with their weekly trash collections until Friday, Feb. 7, 2025. The trees must be placed at the exact location where your trash is collected. Before placing Christmas trees out for collection, please remove all ornaments, tinsel, and other decorations.”

Baltimore City residents should put their trees out on their regularly scheduled trash day, and the city will remove them. In the past, the Baltimore City Department of Public Works has noted that it may not be taken on the first trash day that your tree is out. In the past, the city picked them up anytime during the month.

All decorations, including lights and all tinsel, need to be removed. The city will not take them if they have anything left on them.

If you’d like your tree to be mulched, and you would like some for yourself, you can bring your tree to the Northwest Citizens’ Convenience Center located at 2840 Sisson Street in West Baltimore any Monday thru Saturday 9am-5pm through February 1, 2025, except for New Years’ Day.

For questions, concerns or problems, please call the Baltimore City Department of Public Works. In the past, they have said to dial “311”.
