Baltimore County trash and recycling guides for 2026 were mailed to residents in early December 2025. This year, thankfully, there is a printed schedule after last year’s fiasco.
As of January 1, 2026, the new schedules should also be found online.
Residents should note the newer “slide” schedule for holidays – so if there is a holiday that week, at least one of your pick up days may be shifted to the following day.
The new schedules run through 2026.

Will there be recycle pickup on Jan 27, 2026?
Hi Steve, according to Baltimore County DPW’s Facebook page, trash and recycling should be on a slide scale this week. So if your pickup were supposed to be today (Monday) it should be Tuesday. They have made posts throughout the day, and the most recent (as of about 4pm Monday 1/26/26) seems to indicate they plan to pick up tomorrow. https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1BM98oP35M/
