The Baltimore Parade of Lighted Boats 2014 will be December 6.

It starts in Fell’s Point at 6pm and makes its’ way to the Inner Harbor, where they will be seen around 6:30pm. They will make a big loop, heading down past Federal Hill and the Baltimore Museum of Industry after that, and will end where it started in Fell’s Point. The hope is for all of the boats to make two passes along the parade route.

This is the 27th Annual Baltimore Parade of Lighted Boats, and it benefits Toys for Tots. Each of the captains and crew members will donate a toy or money to participate. The event is sponsored by the Fells Point Yacht Club.

Keep an eye on the weather, because if it is deemed hazardous, then the parade will be canceled.

The parade lasts for 1 1/2 -2 hours, according to the site.

So, bundle up and head downtown to see some boats decorated for the holidays! There is so much to do in Downtown Baltimore in December!
