Charles Street in Baltimore County will be under going a road resurfacing and water main project beginning Fall 2023.

The Charles Street construction project is scheduled to run from Fall 2023 until Fall 2026.

It affects about 1/10 of a mile of Charles Street from Bellona Avenue to the city line (just north of Gittings Avenue.)

Work is scheduled to take place Monday-Friday 9am-3pm and Sunday through Thursday from 9pm-5am.

This is a very, very busy stretch of Charles Street with a large number of homes and schools nearby. Though they are trying to work on “off-peak” hours, the afternoon school traffic there starts well before 3pm, so make sure to give yourself a lot of extra time if you have to travel in the area.
