Defenders’ Day 2026 at Fort McHenry is September 11-13.

The event starts on Friday, September 11, with multiple events at the Fort and celebrating with a parade through Locust Point at 7pm.

On Saturday and Sunday, Fort McHenry will have drills, dress parade, cannon firing, and raising of the large Flag, along with history sessions.

Saturday night, bring chairs and blankets and experience a U.S. Army Enlistment Ceremony, and a concert by The United States Army Field Band.
