From the Bay, For the Bay is a week of Seafood dinners to support local fishermen at local restaurants. The dates are October 2-9, and many restaurants from Northern Virginia to Philadelphia are participating.

Participating restaurants will donate $1.00 for every Maryland seafood dinner that is sold during this time to the Oyster Recovery Partnership, a non-profit organization that works to replenish the population of the Chesapeake Bay oyster.

You can see what Baltimore restaurants are participating on the Maryland Fisheries website. There are a number of Downtown restaurants, and in Timonium, Bluestone and Michael’s will be participating.

With a few days left, head out to have some local seafood and help our local fishermen & women!
