Baltimore City has a brand new park – Hillside Park!

The entrance is located at the corner of Falls Road and Hillside Avenue just north of Cold Spring Avenue across from the fields at Poly.

Hillside Park is a 20-acre park that is run by a non-profit organization. The Roland Park Community Foundation bought the land from the Baltimore Country Club for $9 million in early 2025. With the park being run by the non-profit, it does not rely on the city for its’ budget.

The park is not complete yet. In the future, they expect to have wooded trails, accessible trails, athletic facilities for basketball, pickleball, and baseball, and there is hope for a playground.

Currently there are no bathrooms, so be prepared!

The community organization running the park is asking for input for future additions – like bathrooms, playground, and more. Please share your input with them at this link!
