Hoodstock is a local charity music festival, which helps raise funds for UC2 (formerly United Cerebral Palsy of Central Maryland).

Hoodstock X will have live acoustic music, food, wine, beer, and a silent auction.

Hoodstock X will be on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at The B&O Railroad Museum Outdoor Pavilion. Doors open at 5:00 pm, and music starts at 5:30. The event runs until 10pm.

The B&O Railroad Museum will be open for tours during the event!

Admission for attendees over age 12 is a $35 donation to UC2, as well as $10 for kids age 6 and older, free for kids ages 5 and under.

The organizers say to wear your best tie dye or “hippie” gear!

For more information, check out Hoodstock’s facebook page.

Hoodstock’s purpose is fun and to raise money for UC2. UC2 provides services, advocates for and assists both children and adults with round-the-clock care, housing, day facilities, transportation, employment assistance, assistive technology and schooling for those who have cerebral palsy and other physical disabilities.

This should be a fun event for anyone, and for a good cause. Visit the B&O and get groovy on September 21st!
