Happy 236th Birthday, America!

236 years ago today, the Declaration of Independence was signed, two days after the thirteen original colonies legally separated from Great Britain.

The freedoms we enjoy come with a price, and I thank our troops current and past, for protecting the freedoms our founders wanted us to have.

Take today to celebrate our country and freedoms, and remember the history and past that got us here.
