In Maryland, as real estate agents, we renew our licenses every two years. This is the 13th time I have renewed.

In the last 26 years in Baltimore real estate, I have learned quite a bit and use that knowledge to help my Towson sellers and buyers.

This year I learned a lot about selling a childhood home after the death of your final living parent. It is a precarious project, handling such a big change while mourning your parent and dealing with the emotions of selling the home where you grew up.

There are so many nuances and so many legal things an executor of an estate has to handle, and I found having a professional, local agent who was able to manage so much for me with the house piece from afar was truly lifesaving.
