The Maryland State Fair begins on August 21st and runs from Thursday evening through weekends through September 7, 2025.

Dates: 8/21-24, 8/28-9/1, 9/4-7. The gates open at 5pm Thursday and 10am Friday-Sunday each weekend & Labor Day Monday.

The Maryland State fair showcases carnival games, lots of rides, live thoroughbred racing, livestock for sale, a petting zoo, concerts and more.

Chick-Fil-A has a limited number of $5 off ride wristband coupons for Thursdays, 8/21, 28, 9/4. The website states that you have to visit the Midway Guest Relations Booth to present either a digital or hard copy of the coupon.

Admission for 2025 is $15 for adults, $10 for Seniors 62 & older, and $11 for children 6-11. Children 5 & under are free.

Parking is $15 on site, but is free at the Deereco Park & Ride as well as levels 4, 5, 6, & 7 of the Kaiser Permanente Parking garage adjacent to the Deereco Park & Ride. There are a number of private parking lots nearby where you can pay for parking as well.
