National Wear Red Day 2014 is February 7.

What is National Wear Red Day?

National Wear Red Day is the first Friday each February, designed to bring attention to heart disease in women. Heart disease has been found to be the #1 killer of women.

The American Heart Association began National Wear Red Day in 2003 to raise awareness and educate about heart disease for all, but especially for women.

Learn more about National Wear Red Day at the American Heart Association’s website, goredforwomen.org, dedicated to the cause.

Know your own risks, raise awareness, and make a difference.

Don’t forget to wear red on Friday, February 7, 2014!
