Hunt Valley’s former Delta Hotel is in the midst of being demolished to make way for new homes.

The Baltimore Business Journal stated on May 27, 2026 that Keelty Realty plans to build approximately 300 luxury homes on the former Hunt Valley Inn site at Shawan and I-83, with starting prices around $600,000.

As of this posting, there is no information on the Keelty Realty website about this project.

In 2024, the Baltimore Sun reported on the potential development and the investors involved at that time, as did WMAR 2-News’ website.

I am sure there will be more information forthcoming as permits and construction plans come through public records.

For now, there are large piles of rubble where the Delta hotel once stood.

Currently there are new Hunt Valley homes still being built at Longview Ridge across Shawan Road. There are also some resales in that community as well.
