One Parkton High School, two Towson High Schools, one Essex High School, a Catonsville High School and one Timonium High School ranked high in US News and World Report’s Best High Schools edition for 2019.

Eastern Technical High School in Essex came in at #3 in Maryland and #185 Nationally.

Western School of Technology and Env. Science in Catonsville came in at #6 in Maryland and #339 Nationally.

George W. Carver Center for Arts and Technology in Towson came in at #8 in Maryland Rankings & #374 in National Rankings.

Hereford High School in Northern Baltimore County, came in at #9 in Maryland, #463 Nationally.

Towson High Law and Public Policy came in at #13 (#613 Nationally) while Dulaney High School in Timonium came in at #18 in Maryland (#680 Nationally.)

The scores are based on College Readiness (based on the number of students taking and passing AP exams,) Algebra test scores on the Maryland State exit exam, and English test scores on the Maryland State exit exam.

There are a number of Baltimore County Schools on the list, but these were the ones in the top 20 in Maryland! Here is a link to the report, focused here on Baltimore County.
