Spring Forward March 8, 2015!
Before you head to bed on Saturday night March 7, remember to set your clocks forward an hour as we enter Daylight Saving Time at 2am Sunday, March 8, 2015.
Though most of our phones and some digital clocks automatically re-set, many microwaves and regular battery-powered clocks do not!
Technically we “lose” an hour of sleep on Sunday, but I am excited for an hour more of daylight at the end of each day. Starting Sunday, the 8th, the sun will be setting around 6:55pm!
If you have an older home, a good idea to do when you change your clocks is to change your batteries in your smoke detectors, if they are not hardwired. Firefighters recommend changing your smoke detector batteries twice a year, and the time change is the perfect time to do so!
