Timonium home sales in 2014 were up slightly over 2013, which had been up since 2012, a continuing good sign for the Timonium real estate market.
The total volume of Timonium houses that sold in 2014 was $242,220,185, which is up 5.53% from 2013, where we saw $229,523,128 sell.
Unfortunately, the average sales price in Timonium was down — $384,476, down 2.51% from the $394,370 average we saw in 2013. Not a large drop, and a few smaller homes and townhomes could make the difference in average in the community.
There were 630 Timonium homes that changed hands last year, up 8.25% from 582 in 2013.
The average days on the market stayed about the same — it rose about five days to 57 from the average of 52 it took in 2013.
We had a few large dips throughout the year, as you can see on the graph. There have been a lot more homes for sale in Timonium than have gone under contract and sold.
In general, though, the Timonium real estate market fared better than in 2013.
