Timonium home sales in March 2020 were down in a big way from March 2019, most likely thanks to COVID-19.
The total volume of Timonium houses that sold in March 2020 was $15,163,622, down 30,69% from the volume of $21,878,500 we saw in March 2019. It was also slightly down from the $15,633,994 volume we saw in Timonium Home Sales February 2020.
The average sales price in Timonium was up 11.41% from last year at this time, to $435,247 from the $390,688 average last March.
Thirty-five Timonium homes closed in March, which is a huge drop from the same time last year when 56 homes sold. The average days it took to sell those 35 homes was 47, five less days than last year at the same time.
There were 91 Timonium homes actively on the market by the end of March 2020. (Comparatively, at the end of March last year, there were 126 homes on the market!)
Sixty-six homes came on the market in Timonium, while 49 homes received acceptable contracts last month. (Last March, 81 homes went under contract, and 93 homes had entered the market for sale.)
Twelve Timonium homes sold in the first 10 days on the market, one more in 11-20 days, and two more in 21-30 days.
