The Washington Monument Lighting 2016 is Thursday, December 1.

The event starts at 5:00pm and runs until 8:00pm.

The actual ceremony starts around 7pm and the lighting itself with laser lights and a firework finale around 7:45pm.

From 5:00-7, there is a Kid’s Corner with: Holiday Crafts, Free Facepainting, and a Pixelated Photobooth with Santa.

There will be live performances by the Morgan State University Choir, the Almighty Senators, Baby Beats with Max & Root, Bravenoise, Victoria Vox and OrchKids.
