Zillow’s home sales forecast for 2026 was updated on June 23, 2026.

Zillow’s researchers now believe there will be a very slight increase in home values, as well as a very slight increase in existing home sales in 2026.

Zillow projects that home values should rise by 0.1% this year and they expect 3.76 million existing home sales in 2026.

At the end of 2025, Zillow was forecasting home value growth of 4-5%.

Please note that this is a nationwide updated forecast for 2026 home sales from one website. In addition, each area of the United States real estate market may have differing statistics. Even in the Baltimore real estate market, different neighborhoods often see different data – some areas may rise a bit, while some Baltimore neighborhoods may drop in value and volume.
