Baltimore Easter Egg Hunts 2013

Easter is early this year, Sunday, March 31, 2013, and Baltimore Easter Egg Hunts are scheduled for the weekend!

There were some events held last weekend, but there are still plenty available this weekend while Baltimore County Schools are off!

Here are a few Easter Egg Hunts in Baltimore.

If you know of any others, please let me know, and I will add them to the list.


10am-2pm Each Day, Mary Sue Bunny BonanZOO. All children who participate will get to turn in their found eggs and get Mary Sue chocolate eggs as a prize. Free with Baltimore Zoo Admission. 10:30am Silly Goose & Val puppet show, 12:30pm Robstar the Magic Rockstar — magic fun all three days! Games, crafts, bounce house and more. 8:30-9:30am – B&O Railroad Museum. Annual Easter Bunny breakfast buffet in the Roundhouse. Story time with Choo Choo Blue, indoor carousel ride, pictures with the Easter Bunny. Top it off with a train ride with the Bunny! You MUST reserve in advance — last tickets will be sold before 3pm on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Cost: B&O Member tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for children ages 2+. General admission tickets are $33 for adults & $25 for children ages 2+. 11:00am, 1:00pm, 3:00pm – Also at the B&O Railroad Museum – Ride the Rails with the B&O Easter Bunny. Children may have their photos taken with the B&O Bunny at Dr. Coupler’s Railroad Photorium. 12-3pm Baltimore Humane Society – Easter Eggstravaganza –  Easter Egg Hunt, Pet and Kid Photos with the Easter Bunny, I Spy Cat Detective Games, and a Bake Sale. 2pm performance by Charm City Dance Theatre! Free, but donations requested. 1601 Nicodemus Road, Reisterstown, MD 21136. More on their website.


10am-12pm Cromwell Valley Park, 2002 Cromwell Bridge Road, Baltimore, MD 21234 — Easter Egg Hunt! Egg hunt times based on age: Ages 3-4 10:30 AM , Ages 5-6 10:45 AM,  Ages 7-8 11:00 AM, Ages 9-10 11:15 AM. Also included are family games and egg dyeing, as well as the chance to make a spring bonnet/hat! Reservations are not required and there is no charge! More details on their site.

10am-12pm Towson Y Family Center, Y Spring Eggstravaganza  Contact your local Y for exact times and cost. Registration required & space limited. More details on their site.

6-8pm Robert E Lee Park — Flashlight Egg Hunt – Ages 5 & up – $3 per person – Search for both eggs and nocturnal animals! Bring you own flashlights! Registration required. More on the RRLRAIA website.

Join in the fun this weekend, whether or not you celebrate the holiday. Finding eggs with treasures is almost always a good time!
