Baltimore City has new rental laws that took effect August 1, 2018.

Baltimore City landlords have until January 2019 to comply with the new rental laws.

Landlords in Baltimore City must hire a licensed home inspector to inspect their units to meet certain criteria.

Please note, all Baltimore City rental houses must have their inspections between 8/1/18-12/31/18, and have their license in hand by January 1, 2019.
