Hunt Valley home sales in April 2015 were down slightly from last April.
The total volume of Hunt Valley homes sold in April was $5,176,300, which is down 8.36% from the $5,648,666 we saw in April 2014. This volume is also down from the $7,261,700 we saw in Hunt Valley home sales March 2015.
The average sales price was down significantly – to $323,519 from $434,513 a year ago.
Sixteen Hunt Valley homes sold in April, three more than last March. This year, five of those home sales were condos, which could account for the average sales price drop.
It took an average of 132 days for those 16 Hunt Valley homes to go under contract, which is a huge jump from last year, where the average was only 74 days. One home went under contract in less than 10 days on the market, another two in less than 20 days, and a fourth in less than 30 days. Five homes, though, took between 181-360 days to sell.
There were a total of 68 homes for sale in 21030 in April. Forty-one homes came on the market last month, while 31 went under contract.
