Hunt Valley home sales in August 2016 were up from last August.

The total volume of Hunt Valley homes sold in August was $7,893,255, up 52.81% from the volume of $5,165,300 we saw in August 2015. This a big drop, however, from the volume of $15,214,843 we saw in Hunt Valley Home Sales July 2016.

The average sales price was also up, to $438,514 from $397,331 in August 2015.

Eighteen Hunt Valley homes sold in August, five more than last August.

It took an average of 66 days for those 18 Hunt Valley homes to go under contract, 32 more days, on average, than the same time last year for homes in Hunt Valley to sell. Four homes sold within the first 10 days on the market, three more within 30 days, and six more in less than two months.

There were a total of 96 homes for sale in 21030 in August. Twenty-three homes came on the market last month, while 18 went under contract.
