Timonium home sales in March 2013 were up in a VERY big way from March 2012.

The volume of Timonium houses that sold last month was $15,739,00, which is an increase of 85.75% from last March’s $8,473,400. This is also a great jump from the $6,603,700, we saw in Timonium Home Sales February 2013! Another number that was up? Average sales price! Up to $383,878 from $325,900 last March.

Forty-one Timonium homes sold in February, which is another large increase —  57.69% more than the 26 that sold last year at the same time. It took an average of 80 days to sell a 21093 house, which is a GOOD number to have drop — last year it took an average of 140 days to receive an acceptable contract! Seven homes sold before they hit the Timonium real estate market, meaning they were sold without the general public having access to them, (those are the homes that say “0” days,) another eight sold in less than 10 days, and another four sold in less than a month.

Sixty-nine Timonium homes came on the market in March, while 64 received acceptable contracts. There were 101 homes for sale in the 21093 zip code last month.
