Timonium home sales in May 2020 were down in a big way from May 2019, most likely thanks to COVID-19.
The total volume of Timonium houses that sold in May 2020 was $17,270,777, down 46.19% from the $32,097,200 average we saw in May 2019. It was also slightly down from the $17,947,405 volume we saw in Timonium Home Sales April 2020.
The average sales price in Timonium down very slightly, to $434,263 from the $445,794 average last May.
Thirty-nine Timonium homes closed in May, which is a large drop from the same time last year when 72 homes sold. The average days it took to sell those 39 homes was 34, eight less days than last year at the same time.
There were 92 Timonium homes actively on the market by the end of May 2020. (Comparatively, at the end of May last year, there were 166 homes on the market!)
Sixty-three homes came on the market in Timonium (last year that number was 124,) while 61 homes received acceptable contracts last month. (Last May, 73 homes went under contract.)
Thirteen Timonium homes sold in the first 10 days on the market, nine more in 11-20 days, and five more in 21-30 days.
