Timonium home sales in October 2013 were down very slightly from the same point last year.
The total volume of Timonium houses that sold in October was $15,609,300 , which is down 2.14% from last October. It is a drop from Timonium Home Sales September 2013, where we saw $17,765,680 in sales, August where $21,869,675 sold, and also July, where we saw $35,336,586 in sales.
Though some of this is a normal seasonal change, I have felt a difference, and that the late spring, early summer bump we saw was just a short term effect.
A good number — the average sales price was up 10.73% from last October, to $410,771.
Thirty-eight Timonium homes sold in October, down from the 43 that sold in the same month last year.
It took an average of 43 days for a house in Timonium to go under contract, which is down from the 58 days it took in 2012.
Twelve Timonium homes sold within the first 10 days on the market, three the day they came on the market. Another 12 Timonium homes sold in less than a month.
Fifty-six homes entered the Timonium real estate market in October, while 49 homes received acceptable contracts.
There were a total of 145 Timonium homes for sale in October.
