Towson 21204 home sales in May 2013 dropped, breaking the upward trend we had been seeing over the past few months.

The total volume of Towson homes sold in May was $5,515,500, down over 22% from the $7,080,400 that sold last May. This is also a large slide downward from last month, where $7,013,900 sold, as we saw in 21204 home sales April 2013.

Sixteen homes sold in May, which is two less than May 2012. The average sales price for homes that settled last month was $344,719, which is also down from the average sales price of $393,356 at the same time last year.

Twenty-four Towson homes came on the market in May, while 25 homes went under contract, which may indicate a different outcome next month. I will be interested to see if the pendulum swings back up, if even just slightly!
