Just like last year, two Towson High Schools and one Timonium High School ranked high in US News and World Report’s Best High Schools edition for 2013.

In 2013, Carver Center on York Rd in Towson kept its’ #242 national rank (#9 in the State!), Towson High School was at #268 nationally (#12 in the State,) and Dulaney High School in Timonium went to #368 nationally (#17 in the State.)

As always, the scores are based on College Readiness (based on the number of students taking and passing AP exams,) Algebra test scores on the Maryland State exit exam, and English test scores on the Maryland State exit exam.

There are a number of Baltimore County Public Schools on the list, and this year Hereford High in Sparks joined the top 500 at #426! Here is a link to the 2013 US News Best High Schools report, focused here on Baltimore County.

Towson homeowners,  Timonium homeowners and now Sparks homeowners are sure to be happy to see these numbers, as school reports are seen by some as important tools.

I want to share my congratulations to these Towson High Schools, Timonium High School, and Sparks High School for their wonderful achievements!
