Baltimore home prices are up, but NOT as high as the National average.

I actually had someone the other day say something to the effect of, “I just saw that prices are up about 12%, so I think we can get more for my house.”

I hadn’t seen that article yet, but then an article from the Baltimore Business Journal put that discussion to rest, showing a 5.3% gain during that same time period.

Though yes, the Baltimore housing market is rising, it is not at the over 12% rate that some areas of the country are seeing.

This reinforces what I have tried to show for a long time — REAL ESTATE IS VERY LOCAL.

Even STREET-BY-STREET sometimes, the prices can change.

Definitely neighborhood-by-neighborhood.
