Hunt Valley home sales in April 2020 were up from last April, despite COVID-19.

The total volume of Hunt Valley homes sold in April was $11,401,600, up 7.18% from the volume of $10,638,157 we saw in April 2019. It was also up from the $9,079,099 we saw in Hunt Valley Home Sales March 2020.

The average sales price was $508,038 , up from the volume of $443,257 in April 2019.

Twenty-one Hunt Valley homes sold in April, three less than last April.

Seven Hunt Valley homes sold in their first 10 days on the market, and two more in 11-21 days.

There were a total of 41 homes for sale in 21030 in April. Twenty-three homes came on the market last month, while 21 went under contract.

Please keep in mind that the 21030 zip code is has a large variety of Hunt Valley & Cockeysville homes and neighborhoods. Hunt Valley and Cockeysville is made up of of small condos, medium and large sized townhouses, as well as small and very large luxury single family homes. We began to see the effects of COVID-19 beginning around March 16th, when many home sellers across Maryland began to remove their homes from the market, though Hunt Valley home sales don’t appear to yet be affected in March.
