Hunt Valley home sales in September 2013 were about even from the same point last year.

The total volume of Cockeysville homes sold was $4,538,800. This is down from the high of $10,138,400 that we saw settle in Hunt Valley Home Sales August 2013, and also from Hunt Valley Home Sales July 2013 of $9,395,900.

Average sold price was up 21.91% to $349,138. This is a good sign, as two less homes sold than last year at the same time, and of the total of 13 sales, 8 were townhouses!

As mentioned above, 13 Hunt Valley homes sold, which is two less than last September. It took an average of 52 days for a home in 21030 to receive an acceptable contract. This is a great number to see drop, as it took an average of 143 days last year at this time to sell. That is about THREE MONTHS average less time for a Cockeysville home to be on the market!

Twenty-four Hunt Valley homes went under contract in September (only 10 did so last year at the same time!) Thirty-five houses entered the Cockeysville real estate market.  There were a total of 85 homes in Hunt Valley for sale by the end of  the month.
